About Me

My name is Matt King, born and raised on Cape Cod, MA and currently living in Northern Virginia. I am a new father, and Marine Corps veteran. I’ve worked in multiple restaurants throughout my life, from washing dishes, to waiting tables, to running dinner service on the line. My passion for food has evolved from just eating to using food as a tool to build community, and bring family together. 

All around the globe food is used to bring community together, for celebrations, births, birthdays and more. Our aim is to provide you with recipes and techniques to take your cooking to the next level. I’m always open to try your own recipes as well!
